


Built on the grounds of The Clifton Plantation home (only a block from the mighty Mississippi River), Highpoint takes you back to the turn of the century where the charm of the Old South lives in decor and spirit.
Highpoint, a Victorian "Country Manor" style home is listed on the National Register and is located in the Historic District, together with numerous other Victorian homes on a tree-lined street where homes are nestled among azaleas, camellias, roses, other flowering shrubs and trees, and flower beds full of color in season.
Relax on a sweeping veranda, sip cool mint drinks and enjoy magnificent sunsets, taking you back to a time long ago when peace and tranquility were the rule of the day.
Highpoint offers spacious bedrooms, each with private bath and vanity area for the ladies. Two rooms are furnished with king size beds, one room with queen size bed and arrangements can be made for a pair of single size twin beds upon request. One king and the queen, each have large modern bath with showers and one king and the twin with large victorian tub bath, no shower. Roll-away bed available for 3rd person for small additional charge.
Upon arrival a tour of Highpoint is offered and an afternoon social, fitting your schedule, with dip, munchies and beverage. Visit with your hosts and learn the history of Natchez, the Historic District and Highpoint according to your interest. Awaken in the morning to the wonderful aroma of custom-blended coffee, followed by a large Plantation breakfast. Coffee/tea served prior to breakfast.
Room prices vary according to the time of year and range from $90 - $125. Special dinner for guests at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter. (2 night booking required with holiday reservations.) Smoking, designated areas, young adults 12 and over, TAC 10.
