The Andersen Lodge is an Austrian Inn located on the Mountain Road (Rt. 108) midway between the charming Village of Stowe and the scenic beauty of Mount Mansfield and Smuggler's Notch.

The owners and your hosts are Dietmar and Trude Heiss whose Austrian background gives the Lodge a special warm and friendly atmosphere. Dietmar, a trained chef, prepares all the food with an International touch.

There are seventeen spacious bedrooms that have private baths, color TV, and air conditioning. Some rooms have a telephone and refrigerator. Guests can also relax in the Sauna or jacuzzi. The attractive dining room and two living rooms with fireplaces are the center of many happy evenings. Also for your entertainment, is a game room with ping pong, bumper pool table and piano.

The Lodge has a tennis court with ball machine available and a heated swimming pool set in relaxing surroundings with a lovely view of the mountains.

Many mountain activities in winter and summer abound. Stowe and Vermont, long famous for skiing, are equally know for their lovely golf courses where there is never a waiting line.
